  • As a Process Engineer specializing in Site UpStream Methods for Molding, Hard/Anti Fog Coating, and Metallization processes.
  • Management and coordination of all trial runs for new programs, from the initial setup of the tool in the press to the complete customer approval of PPAP/PSW.
  • Tracking and support to the process experts such as: Injection Molding Specialist, Tooling Engineers, Hard Coat, Anti Fog Coat, Metallization, peripherals, etc to ensure all the resources needed are in track and in time to run in site

  • With the goal of boosting capacity, a budget of 1.5 million USD was agreed with the FORD customer for the enhancement of the 6R140 Heavy Duty torque converter assembly line process.
  • Coordination of the Methods Engineers Team to conduct process time studies aimed at identifying bottlenecks in the process.
  • Kaizen tasks:
  • Enhancement of the brazing process for Pump Assembly 6.2L, reducing the cycle from 2 to 1.
  • For the Laser and TIG-MIG welding processes related to the Pump Sub Assembly and Cover Hub, we achieved a reduction in machining process cycle time by eliminating unnecessary operator travel movements and interpolating other processes to decrease overall process time.
  • Ford Torque Converter: “One Way Clutch Stator & Torque Converter MY2015” process were established and validated for mass production, all process documentation such operator and maintenance work instructions, process parameters and operators were trained.
  • A RFQ (Request for Quote) was issued to a Maiden Japanese supplier to improve the torque converter Heavy Duty assembly line final tester machine and to implement the improvements.
  • Counter disc flattening process insource from supplier to Valeo Transmissions.

  • Production control to ensure the customer releases accomplishment.
  • Maintenance Team coordination to ensure the machinery, equipment and devices transferred from DANA Alamance, NC, startup and reliability production at DANA-Cardanes Queretaro.
  • Performing of the RQR (run at rate trials runs) to demonstrate cycle time and quality of the finished goods.

  • Ford Fiesta B299 Bolster radiator frame launch, were managed in Ford system the Schedule A and the VPP for product and process validation.
  • Were coordinated a team of contributors to get the Ford manufacturing Site Assessment, after audit were kept for magna site the Q1 certification.
  • Cost reduction identified, validated and adopted in mass production the Sabic material changed from 70% to 30% of glass fiber content.
  • At Magna I performed combined roles as a Program Manger, Quality Customer Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer.

  • Transferring of the Fixed Outer Race machining lines, from GKN Drive Line North Carolina to GKN Driveline Celaya.

  • Process setting and adoption in massive production of Fixed Outer Race for Honda, GM, Ford, Nissan, Chrysler, VW, Kawasaki, Polaris, Cadillac and Bombardier.
