Work History
VP of Revenue Cycle
Memorial University Medical Center
Savannah , GA
11.2017 - 12.2025
Memorial Health was in the process of looking for a buyer. I was asked by an outside firm to go in and manage the AR until the sale was final.
The hospital did not sell the existing AR to the new buyer, but decided to have it worked out by an outside firm and asked me to manage the firm and deal with patient and attorney questions, along with managing the collections of the outside firm.
Initially, they thought the position would only be for 3 to 6 months, and as you can see, it lasted for years.
I kept monthly reports for overpayments, underpayments, and patient payments, which were sent to the firm that requested I stay on. I posted all of the payments and made adjustments on the accounts for discounts with insurance companies.
