  • I processed educational claims at the Muskogee VA Regional office. I began as a GS-7 Veterans Claim Examiner in February2009. I was promoted to a GS9-7. I have worked on special projects/priority claims, and also perform audits as needed. I consistently and conscientiously exercise sound, equitable judgment in applying stated laws, regulations, polices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely decisions on Education benefit claims administered by the Department Of Veterans Affairs. As a team member I strive to enhance resolution of claims and customer service contacts by my work actions. I demonstrate on a daily basis the ability to adjust to work pressures, to handle differences of opinion in a businesslike fashion, and to follow instructions conscientiously. Also as a team member I contribute to the group effort by supporting fellow teammates with technical expertise and open communications and by the ability to effectively communicate in a courteous manner with customers during the personal or telephone interview process.
