Hadassah Mills

The Action of People of Praise is a volunteer program that incorporates manual labor and fosters a strong teamwork environment. It also requires the ability to perform deep cleaning, do rigorous yard work, and communicate effectively with the customers you work for.

I have worked at the Morris Family Farm most summers for various amounts of time. My job included taking care of the horses, cattle, and other livestock, tending to the crops and garden, weeding, mowing, and giving aid with construction, repair of fences, and both general indoor and outdoor cleaning.

I worked at various First Image events multiple times throughout the year. At their annual Fun Run, I worked behind the counter at the merchandise booth, assisted with the setup and cleanup of the entire event, staffed the check-in station, and managed crowd and line control for various booths. I also worked at their annual Gala as a communication runner and a set-up volunteer.
