• Direct all engineering, maintenance, utilities, and facilities operations for a pediatric specialty hospital.
• Lead and supervise engineering staff, contractors, and vendors while ensuring safe and efficient facility operations.
• Manage preventive maintenance and repair programs for HVAC, boilers, chillers, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection systems, emergency generators, and building automation systems.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, Department of Health, NFPA, OSHA, and other healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate capital projects, facility upgrades, life safety inspections, and regulatory surveys.
• Develop maintenance schedules, operational procedures, and emergency response plans to improve system reliability and patient safety.
• Manage service contracts, vendor relationships, and departmental budgets.
• Provide leadership during utility outages, emergency events, and critical infrastructure failures to maintain uninterrupted patient care operations.

• Duties included ,Safety point to point weekly check of high pressure boilers. Air handler maintenance which involved cleaning units and assuring proper operation, bearing replacement.

• Installed and serviced schneider control products. Checked out new systems on multiple construction projects.

• Skilled HVAC and plumbing mechanic– Duties include repair of split systems, ductless units, cooling tower maintenance, maintenance of units, power washing of condenser coils and evap coils. Also fixture repairs, shower body repair, soldering and brazing, and all phases of piping.
