I performed with other women who were like me in a pageant named Distinguished Young Women (DYW), and I received an award and flowers for my achievements. My band director and flag coordinator gave me trophies and band certificates during my three and a half years as a flag girl.
I made the newspapers, made the AB Honors List in high school, and earned my CPR certification during my time at the daycare where I taught. Because I demonstrated leadership among my peers and in class, I received a Leadership Certificate from high school. Working well with others and being prepared to complete a task allowed me to get my Certification of Appreciation as a Student Ambassador.
