Affiliations
In college there were two organizations I actively volunteered with: College Mentors for Kids and SPENSA (Special Needs Soccer Assocation)
College Mentors for Kids: Group leader responsible for developing and implementing curriculum plans and activities that focused on equality, importance of education, and diversity. Was responsible for supervising the children and mentor pairs throughout the sessions.
SPENSA: Would be paired with an individual with special needs and show them how fun the game of soccer can be. The goal of this program is to bring the excitement of soccer to individuals who have not traditionally had a place in the youth soccer system.
