Working as the assistant librarian for the Horace Mann Laboratory School, my responsibilities consist of:

• Maintaining a welcoming environment for patrons by keeping the library clean, organized, and wellstocked
• Contributed to overall library efficiency by assisting in circulation desk duties such as checking out materials and managing holds.
• Selected age-appropriate materials for children''s programs to encourage early literacy skills development.
• Handled check-in and check-out process of library books and materials at circulation desk.

Working as a preschool aide for the Phyllis and RIchard Leet Center, my responsibilities consist of:

• Ensuring that I support children''s social and emotional development through positive reinforcement and individualized attention.
• Manage daily routines effectively, teaching children responsibility and time management skills.
• Assist lead teacher with implementing age-appropriate curriculum, resulting in increased student engagement.

While working as a library media assistant, I worked to:

• Enhanced library user experience by efficiently managing circulation and cataloging tasks.
• Increased student engagement with library resources by creating visually appealing displays and promotional materials.
• I also apart of handling check-in and check-out process of library books and materials at circulation desk as well as organizing library shelves, materials and equipment in clear, alphabetized order.

I have been rehired for this position the last two portions of summer school for both 2022 and 2023.

During my time as a Lunch and Playground Supervisor, I worked to:

• Enhanced playground safety by conducting regular equipment inspections and maintenance tasks.
• Focused on promoting physical activity among students through the organization of engaging games and activities during recess periods.
• Collaborated with school staff to develop and implement new playground rules for improved student behavior and safety.
• Helped to reduced incidents of bullying on the playground by implementing a proactive supervision approach, fostering a positive environment for all students.

During my time as an Aspiring Educators intern, I would not only be involved in a variety of classroom settings, I was also able to assist the mentor teachers in lesson planning, classroom management, and content instruction. I was able to build relationships with students and faculty as well, while also prematurely learning expectations and guidelines on what being an educator intells.
