• Canine pleomorphic iridociliary adenocarcinomas are metastatic tumors that arise from the ciliary body and are characterized by an invasive growth pattern. Globes affected with pleomorphic iridociliary adenocarcinoma often also have glaucoma, and proliferation of tumor cells may be linked to a history of ocular trauma or ciliary body ablation. The goal of this study is to aid in diagnosis of pleomorphic iridociliary adenocarcinomas by evaluating immunophenotype, estimating prognosis following enucleation, and gathering information from medical history to better understand the disease.

• Identification and understanding neural mast orientation in lateral lines of marine and freshwater stickleback fish (Gasterosteidae). Sticklebacks occupy a diverse range of habitats and it is expected that these different marine and freshwater populations have variations in their lateral line systems. Any variation may better equip a population to navigate, sense and respond to stimuli within their environment.Variation of olfactory systems are of great diversity, both within and between species, which is quantifiable. These differences are important to identify and can improve predictions for organismal responses to disturbance.
