I am interested in attending this program through WellSpan because I am passionate about enhancing my skills in healthcare and making a positive impact in my community. I have heard great things from people who currently work at WellSpan about this program, and I want to commit myself to it. In 2022, I did a third shift tour where I got to see all the departments at the WellSpan York Hospital’s lab. After the walkthrough and talking to the former program director, Wellspan's microbiology and chemistry department captivated my interest, and I knew that would be the place that I'd want to work for. Through the one year program, I am hoping to use my skills as a quality worker to learn everything that I can about WellSpan's commitment to high-quality patient care. I use WellSpan for my healthcare provider, and I think that they do an amazing job at helping patients, so I'd love to be a part of the WellSpan team. Also, the quality and attentiveness to the patients that WellSpan provides aligns greatly with the care that I want to give the patients that I wish to help in my career. I believe that participating in this program will provide me with invaluable hands-on experience, mentorship, and the opportunity to learn from leading professionals in the field. I would also want to work at WellSpan after this clinical year when I graduate college, so this program would be a great way to start my career at WellSpan.
