Elderly Caregiver
6 Months- As a someone who work with the elderly I provide much assistance. I work with them to plan out their day, and what needs to be done
- I transport them to the places they need to go. By doing so I spread out their workload and make things easier on them.
- I work with elderly unable to walk or move independently. I assist with transfers, to their bed, to their wheelchair, and even to the toilet or shower.
- Cooking is a frequent task I have, I prepare meals well balanced for my clients. I ensure they have all the nutrients they need to stay healthy and maintain their energy.
- Cleaning is essential, most are unable to clean on their own so keeping up with mess is an everyday thing. I do laundry, clean around the house, vacuum, sweep and mop.
- The most important thing when it comes to home health care is conversing with your client. Many elderly who require home health need someone to talk to. Being that person brightens their day.
Barista
11 Months- As a Starbucks barista I followed the “latte”method with our guests. I ensured that our guests felt comfortable and even encouraged to return to our store.
- I was frequently moving around between stations, I effectively used our espresso and steam machine to make drinks for our guests. I was also tasked with safely using our oven to heat up our pastries and sandwiches as well as our cold bar to mix up cold drink orders.
- We were on a timed schedule to ensure quickness and consistency for our guests. We worked on an order basis. First in first out.
- On the occasion we would run out of a certain product I would always assist with retrieving more from a neighboring store.
Team Leader
2 Years 1 Month- As a target team leader I frequently was tasked with making schedules, and managing my team’s progress. Working with them to ensure that we always had a safe and healthy environment.
- I would contribute to my team by assisting them on the sales floor. I would assist with zone, hold team meetings to converse about our game plan for the night, ensure everyone in my team was on the same page, boost morale by making sure everyone knew if they needed assistance I was there to help.
- I frequently attended management meetings to discuss new ways we could improve on our approach to ensure our team members were satisfied. I took every opportunity to advocate for my team members and their concerns.
- As a member of the target team, our guests came first above all else. I would always be happy to assist our guests and give a warm welcome any chance I had. Making sure the guest felt at home in our store.
Beauty Advisor
5 Months- As an ulta beauty advisor I was mainly on register. Assisting guests with checking out and ensuring they were able to find everything they were in search of.
- I always made sure to upsell, I would recommend products at our grab and go similar to the ones the were purchased. I would also reassure our guests on their purchase. Giving compliments on the product and the effects of it.
- We had a store card, so every guest I would speak with I would make sure to explain all the great things about our card. I would help them with the sign up process and congratulate them if they were approved.
- There was occasions where I would be sent to the floor to assist guests. I would help guests find products they were looking for, and give recommendations to products they should try based off of their concerns.
Beauty Advisor
10 Months- As a Sephora beauty advisor my main focus was always our guests. I would assist with finding the best products suited to their needs and concerns. While also offering new products that would work great for the guest as well.
- We were all a team at Sephora, so working together to keep the sales floor neat and tidy was something we all contributed to. Throwing trashes, cleaning shelves, doing damages, ect.
- I was frequently on register, I preformed proper and efficient money handling and customer service upselling. We had a store card that I was always very explanatory about, i ensured the guests knew all the great benefits and assisted them with signing up.
- We would receive truck shipments every week that I would assist with. I would unbox, shelve, and back stock the products we received.
Sales Associate
5 Months- As a kohls sales associate my main duty was keeping the department I was in clean and organized. I would pick clothes and products up off the floor, restock empty shelves, and front face any out of place items.
- I provided customer service on a regular basis, assisting guests using our product location system. I also gave recommendations to our customers as I saw fit.
- I was consistently tasked with moving departments and helping in our Amazon return area. I would return customer products and pack boxes for shipment.
Childcare Provider
5 Months- As a childcare provider I worked with the family to make schedules and game plans for the child’s day. To encourage an organized environment for their child.
- I worked on developmental projects and activities to ensure the child would prosper in school when it came time. I not only worked on the stimulation of his mind but also his intellectual power.
- I practiced being very flexible, as the family required me to work most days of the week as well as holidays, weekends, and nights
