• Conduct research on surgical medical devices including Anesthesia Infusion Pumps, Ventilators, EKG machines, etc. to promote innovation in patient safety and clinical care
• Assist in advancing standard of care practices by developing and showing clinical use cases using a non-clinical testbed

July 2021-May 2022 Science of Learning Research - University of Miami. Miami FL                                                                      

• Evaluate the outcomes of an educational program that aims to introduce the Science of Learning to undergraduate students pursuing medical careers. This includes improving academic performance, overall wellness/wellbeing, and confidence in learning by introducing evidence-based study methods. Outcome data includes students’ confidence in implementing Science of Learning strategies before and after the course.

July 2019 -May 2022 Biomedical Cancer research - Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. Miami, FL              

• Conduct research performing a biological investigation of epigenetic effects of micronutrients (methionine, vitamin C, and vitamin B) on Acute Myeloid Leukemia
• Acquire research techniques such as running a Cytoflex machine, using a centrifuge, making cell lines, and using a micropipette.
• Received a certificate of participation from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium for presenting my research
• Graduated with honors distinction; completed a 30-page research thesis.
