I served 4 consecutive years in the United States Army. I joined straight out of high school wanting to serve and defend our country. I slotted parachute rigger because I wanted to challenge myself in my abilities as a soldier. As a parachute rigger I have to be persistent in my work due to any malfunction could cost a person their life, for they jump using my equipment. Also, with the career field it has it mandatory to become airborne and the thrill of being certified for myself to jump out aircrafts successfully interested me. I have surpassed all my friends that I came in the military with, I took over squads meaning I became in charge of 3-9 soldiers at a time. Obtained a security clearance before I even got to my first duty stationed. Which my first duty station was JBER Alaska for 3 years. Next I went to Fort Benning, Georgia for a year. Security-focused and diligent Guard skilled at protecting personnel and premises. Responds and acts appropriately to situational assessments, including criminal acts and fire and medical emergencies. I remain alert, attentive and vigilant at all times. I can anticipates trouble and takes steps to intervene and diffuse using keen eye for detail. Current veteran security associate with demonstrated expertise in building, grounds, personnel and asset protection. Excellent observational, problem-solving and decision-making skills combined with detail-oriented nature, unparalleled integrity and sound judgment. Familiar with various weaponry and well-trained in successful strategies for emergency response and de-escalating conflicts. I am currently seek and maintain a full-time position that offers professional challenges utilizing interpersonal skills, communication skills, excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
