  • Conduct pre-claim investigation, legal research, and initial case assessments for a variety of personal injury claims, such as motor vehicle collisions, medical malpractice, premises liability, and sexual assault
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery for attorney review

  • Devise new organization for case files to maintain pleadings and discovery more efficiently

  • Assist in preparing client updates, specifically regarding medical-related information for all matters
  • Work alongside attorneys to move cases forward by performing searches (LexisNexis, Accurint, Google, hiring private investigators, to locate individuals (clients or otherwise), coordinating service of non-party subpoenas, specifically out-of-state and to prepare deposition transcript summaries, if necessary
  • Billed over a minimum of 400 hours per quarter with appropriately coded time entries for all daily tasks, earning bonuses for every hour over requirement, each quarter, using Tabs3
  • Handle candidate searches for all staff and associates, conduct interviews, put together offer letters and compensation packages, train each new staff member (no legal-experience candidates), perform 90-day, six month, and yearly reviews, and handle termination of employees when necessary.
