Performed CT, X-ray, Fluoroscopy and portable X-ray exams for Emergency Room patients, inpatients and outpatients. Cross-training into CT since October 2023. Starting IVs for CT protocols that require IV contrastCompleting patient contrast questionnaires to ensure IV contrast may be given. (GFR)(Labwork) Following child bearing age protocol for all exams. • Reviewed physicians' orders to determine medical imaging needs and operated radiologic equipment to capture, develop and produce diagnostic images utilizing digital radiography/fluoroscopic equipment and protocols.
• Prepared and administered IV and oral contrast materials for imaging exams
• Float position to prepare IV and patients for all modalities
• Preparing sterile trays and environment for fluoro procedures as well as for Neuro Radiologist on duty to perform certain procedures.
• Digital X-ray (all procedures) fluoroscopy (cine, GI studies, Myelogram, Arthrogram, lumbar puncture pressure)
• Maintaining emergency Drug Box medications and supplies for patient observation protocols after contrast exams in the event of adverse reactions or other abnormalities of significance.

• Monitored and managed inventory and supply levels of sterile and non-sterile items by ordering contrast materials, catheters, films and chemicals, other necessary center supplies.
• Complied with HIPAA and company regulations to maintain confidentiality regarding patient health data and medical records.

• Working with patients ranging from newborn to 21 years of age. Would provide quality diagnostic images daily upon request of a physician as well as numerous medical assistant duties.
• Obtain patient history and vitals for well/sick visits
• Hematocrit/lead tests (capillary), urinalysis (quality control tests as well)
• Hearing/vision screenings
• Pulmonary Function testing (spirometry)/ Nebulizer treatments
• Strep and Flu tests (would also run quality control tests)
• Stool culture/Fecal Occult blood testing/hem-occult
• Complete necessary steps to send tests out to Quest Diagnostics/Lab Corp
• Vaccine verifications utilizing Immtrac
• Completing/sending patient referrals
• Responsible for employee Shift Scheduling as well as PTO requests.
• Created exposure technique chart from scratch with index exposure numbers recorded for future radiology techs to utilize.

• The coordinator is designated to a Baylor hospital out of Garland, Plano, McKinney, or Carrollton. The coordinator helps hospitals keep track of the patient electronically by utilizing Teletracking, Eclypsis, Medhost and Electronic Bed board. With these systems the patients’ rooms, physician orders, and patient status are continually updated upon requests. Through these systems patients are also assigned or transferred electronically from ER to various floors of the hospital or patients may be discharged, and the coordinator will complete these physician orders as well.
