As a former journalist who covered crime and court, Haley Harrison developed a strong commitment to building trust and telling the meaningful stories of law enforcement, crime victims and their families. She brought that passion with her to the State Attorney's Office for Florida's Seventh Judicial Circuit, where she now serves as Public Information Officer.
Harrison has also expanded the office's community engagement efforts. In 2024, she led the launch of the office's first hands-on juvenile crime prevention initiative, "Safety First, Success Always", created in partnership with all four county school districts in the judicial circuit. To help achieve the initiative's education and awareness goals, she has produced several public service announcement series highlighting the consequences of violence and substance use. The content has been viewed by tens of thousands of students and parents.
