  • Visually inspect parts, and measure to ensure parts are in tolerance according to blue print before I begin working on them.
  • Follow work order/blueprint instructions to ensure parts are in tolerance, have correct finish, free of burrs and machine lines.
  • Frequent use of Micrometer and Calipers.
  • Ability to hold tight tolerances as low as +- .001
  • Help out and run the anodizing machine when needed.
  • Run laser welding machine often, and braze parts when needed.
  • Belt, polish, and blast using various grit belts, wheels and blasting media according to print.
  • Deburr pedicle screws, tulip heads, plates, cages, 3D printed implants and other various parts as needed to ensure patient safety, understanding that that quality and being extremely thorough produces the best product.
  • Sharpen Curettes, Cobbs, and Shavers.
  • I worked on coupler forceps for 2 years, completing all the steps up to the finishing of the tips. (hollow grinding, belting bevels, installing rivit/pins, belting, brazing, filing, bending, laser welding spring, blasting knurling, polishing and sending for tip finishing).
  • Ability to manage time to ensure parts are moved along in a timely manner.
  • Ability to use microscope and dremel with many different attachments.
  • Excelled in learning the processes, and always challenge myself to learn more.
