Quaker Construction was a sister site for Drexel Rentals. While performing my duties as Property Manager, I also took upon the role of Payroll Clerk. My duties were to gather timesheets to prepare weekly payroll data for processing by payroll coordinator, organize and maintain payroll information by entering data, deleting errors, calculating and collecting information, and to protect payroll operations and maintain employee confidence by keeping information private.
I managed 22 rental units and my responsibilities were to collect rent, communicate with tenants about any issues with the units, contacting the maintenance man for any repairs, posting any available units, screening any potential tenants, working with the housing authority when needed, serving eviction notices when needed, and typing leases.
This was a non for profit community program focusing on the wellbeing of pregnant women and those who could become pregnant. My position was to provide pregnancy tests, give support to the clients in whatever way needed, and help the clients to understand all their options as far as family planning.
My responsibilities were to manage scheduling for 5 employees to optimize productivity, count cash, made change to keep organized and balanced cash register drawer, and recruit, hire and train new staff to develop excellent product knowledge and customer service.
My responsibilities were to arranged new merchandise with signage and appealing displays to encourage customer sales and move overstock items, answered incoming telephone calls to provide store, products and services information, and prepared cash deposits with zero discrepancies.
