Performs activities specific to patient safety and mobility under supervision of a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Registered Nurse. Performs designated routine patient mobilization tasks and coordinates daily unit specific mobilization activities.

Completed an internship shadowing a pediatric physical therapist, learning how to support mobility training, assist with therapeutic exercises, and monitor patient progress. Developed a strong understanding of pediatric developmental milestones, family-centered care, and professional communication with therapists, nurses, and caregivers.

Supported physical therapists by preparing treatment areas, assisting patients with exercises, and ensuring proper use of therapy equipment. Monitored patient safety during sessions, documented activity when required, and maintained a clean, organized clinical environment to improve workflow and quality of care.
