I'm Han Kim, a 7th-semester Sportswear specialized Fashion Design major at FIT.

I am proficient in garment pattern making and possess advanced skills in both design and production. With a creative mindset and quick learning abilities, I have cultivated experiences that enhance my expertise in handling luxury fabrics and collaborating effectively. My strong work ethic and attention to detail enable seamless communication with pattern makers, and I am confident in creating accurate and beautiful designs.

Oscar de la Renta, 08/28/23, Current - 10/2023, I honed my skills in fashion illustration and design, which included creating application designs. This experience enhanced my understanding of style, color, pattern design, and drawing techniques. I practiced creating fashion croquis, which allowed me to visually express and convey design ideas effectively. This skill enabled me to collaborate with a team and facilitate clear communication of design concepts. I gained experience using CAD software for design work, enhancing my digital design and pattern-making skills. Utilizing digital tools, I became proficient in creating prototypes and improving designs efficiently. While working in the atelier department, I gained hands-on experience in the design and production processes. This included selecting materials, pattern making, cutting, sewing, and garment assembly. I gained a comprehensive understanding of the entire production process.
