As Kickapoo High School first ever Student Relations Commissioner, my job was to:

• Maintain positive relations between the student body and administration by addressing problems, improvements, and concerns students had head-on and implementing successful corrective action.
• Maintain a professional demeanor by staying calm when addressing unhappy or angry responses from admin staff.
• Established team priorities, maintained schedules, and monitored the performance of various student-related activities in the school

I was an Algebra 2 tutor, and some of the ways I helped my students are as follows:

• Collaborated with students to complete homework assignments, identify lagging skills, and correct weaknesses.
• Provided homework assistance using specific curriculum and materials.
• Supported students with helpful study habits and exam strategies.
• Worked with classroom teacher to support progress by monitoring student growth.
• Provided feedback regarding child's progress and behavior.
