I work in a research lab at Johns Hopkins University under Dr. Denis Wirtz and Ashley Kiemen, where I assist with a project focused on identifying early signs of cancer in the pancreatic ducts. My primary role involves annotating histological slides of the pancreas to help track cellular changes that may indicate the onset of malignancy. This research is part of a larger effort to better understand and detect pancreatic cancer at earlier stages.
