Responsible for maintaining and organizing lab spaces and materials as well as prepping a variety of buffers, media, and solutions. This role also required maintaining bacterial cultures throughout each semester.

Responsible for teaching Intro to Microbiology Lab at Wagner College where students learn foundational microbiology lab techniques in staining, culturing and maintaining those bacterial cultures as well as the clinical and differential testing methods used for identification of pathogens with high clinical significance.

Collaborated with the New York Aquarium Learning Experiences team to lead 12 weeks of an educational, wildlife themed summer camp program for over 150 children ages 6-14. Where we fostered a sense of conservation advocacy in campers by facilitating a diverse selection of science experiments, art projects, games and hands on inquiry based experiences both within a classroom setting and outdoors.

STEM Educator on site all summer for the Boys and Girls Club in this role I designed activities and lessons that engaged the students and facilitated developmentally appropriate STEM learning activities and to foster intellectual, physical and social growth while in a summer camp environment to students K-12.

Worked as a STEM outreach educator for the summer where we brought multiple STEM based programs to different summer camps all over Connecticut as well as implementing programs on-site in the Science Center, working with a wide range of ages and knowledge levels from pre-K to high school.
