I was involved with the Leadership Academy at Thomas College. By participating in multiple workshops as well as conferences and meetings I got my certificate. At Thomas College, I am also involved in the Thomas College Dance Team. I participated in multiple classes throughout the school year, including, Contemporary, Modern, Production, Hip-Hop, and Sexy Jazz. At the end of the school year, I was in 10 different dances at the Thomas College Dance Showcase. I have been a dancer for now nine years and is something I take very seriously. During my High School years, each year we had to create a proposal and present it to a board for our year-long project. In my first year, I participated in a group project for creating videos and taking pictures around the city of Portland. The second year of my school year was fully remote, but I still managed to create and complete a website of pictures of Sagadahoc County. For my Junior year, I worked on creating second-hand clothing and accessories and learned more about second-hand fashion as well as the effects of fast fashion on the environment. In my Senior year, I worked with Maine Needs to create a clothing drive and I volunteered there to fill orders of different items and necessities for Case Workers to then give to the individuals in need.
