- Started the admission process for Labor which included admission in database, consents, IV, blood draws, educating patient on care and what to expect and completing the whole process till deliver. At delivery I helped the physicians with the deliver with both mother and baby. Take vital signs on mother and baby and evaluate mother for any problems associated with delivery. Monitor contractions and fetal hear tones throughout the course of the stay. Check patient cervix to determine labor progression. RN Circulates OR for c-sections which includes helping drape patient, foley catheter, sterile prep of patient, and circulator the full OR for the team. I also triage patients and evaluate patients concern with either antepartum, intrapartum, or postpartum stages.
