In the fall of 2020 I began to work along side of an FCA coordinator, our Athletic Spiritual Formation Leader, and a grad assistant for discipleship to come up with a plan to improve the spiritual formation among athletes on campus. In the spring of 2021 we brought it to life and had a wide spread of athletes passionate about improving the spiritual aspects of their teams. We ended that semester with over 20 athletic leaders and continued to grow this group over the course of the fall by having athletic events to create an environments for our teams to come together and learn about the Bible. These events I helped to organize weekly by managing our leaders and coordinating our worship team, food set up, graphic designers, and social media interactions for the upcoming event for the week. This group has given me so many opportunities to speak in front of athletes and build relationships with people I might have never come into contact with. I've gained so much experience in the managing aspect as well as, my passion for athletics as whole.
