Hannah Goenaga

I recently just graduated from Calvary Christian Academy in Fort Lauderdale. I'm currently a college Freshmen attending Florida Atlantic University. During high school, I volunteered for various Musical Theatre productions. My volunteering experience in Theatre includes painting sets, working at the Concessions stand, and Ushering. Additionally, I volunteered at Purpose Academy with my class in 2023. We helped with grading the students' homework and cleaning up after lunch. We would also participate in Chapel with them. Helping people out has often brought me joy, and volunteering has always been a rewarding experience for me. Recently, I volunteered at FAU by helping out the elderly at the Atrium, where we played several games, including Bingo, with them. I hope to continue volunteering throughout my college years.

Piano

• I've been taking piano lessons since I was in 3rd grade.
• I attended the TOPS Piano and Creative Writing Camp at FAU in 2019.
• I've participated in several music recitals, and I would often play a musical piece on the piano.
• I've always loved how the piano sounded ever since I started playing. To me, the piano sounds very beautiful and unique and playing it would often bring me joy.

Yoga

• I took a yoga class back in 2018, and I met a really nice community of people.
• Yoga helps me cope with my anxiety.

My hobbies are some the ways I find community and get along with other people.
