- Process inmate bookings, intakes, releases, and bonding procedures in accordance with facility policies and legal requirements.
- Conduct fingerprinting, photography, and DNA collection for inmate identification and record documentation.
- Maintain accurate property records, including logging, sealing, storing, and releasing inmate property.
- Process and review booking intake paperwork, fingerprints, and NCIC reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Handle Federal, State, and Local agency detainers, warrants, court documents, and new charges efficiently and in accordance with legal procedures.
- Enter and maintain court paperwork, inmate records, and related documentation in department databases.
- Organize, file, scan, and attach documents to ensure proper record management and accessibility.
- Communicate and coordinate with deputies and other agencies during intake procedures to ensure proper documentation and processing.
- Manage bond surrenders and coordinate inmate property releases when applicable.
- Maintain detailed logs and records of daily activities and information received.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Shift Lieutenant.
- Serve as Acting Lieutenant in the absence of the Shift Lieutenant, assisting with operational oversight and decision-making.
