• Leads the development and oversight of the organizational grants strategy, with a focus on funding from foundation and government grants, in collaboration with the VP of Development and Chief Development Officer.
• Oversees all grant development related stages through submission including prospect identification, pre-proposal strategy and materials, RFP evaluation and mission alignment, content development, proposal writing, and supporting documentation such as budgets, timelines, and other agency documents.
• Works collaboratively with program directors, leadership staff, and board members to organize and manage teams for complex proposals and develop responsive, realistic proposals that align with Mary’s Place mission, vision, and strategy.
• Works in partnership with the VP of Development, Chief Finance Officer and Finance team on revenue reconciliation and forecasting.
• Engages with external stakeholders to ensure the impact of their funds is communicated effectively to them through equitable and concise reporting.
• Leads the Grants team to help drive effective prospecting of new donors, maintain compliance of all grant funding, and propel our work forward through a spirit of innovation, creativity, and constant improvement.

● Manage and oversee operations for the Welcome Baby Program: an in-home visitation program centered around early education and familial support, with over 200 families enrolled statewide.
● Implemented and oversaw the statewide expansion of the program, increasing the reach of the program to serve over 50% more families in the community and support staff in local schools.
● Managed and led 5 program staff, 19 AmeriCorps members, 100+ ongoing volunteers, and 200+ program families.
● Collaborated between community and corporate stakeholders, including superintendents and K-12 school leadership, partner agencies, local United Ways of Utah, corporate partners, and community individuals.

• Developed and implemented community outreach programs to enhance local engagement.
• Oversaw budget management of program with a diverse portfolio of funding sources, including private foundations, major individual donors, and government contracts.
• Facilitated training workshops for both staff and volunteers, enhancing skills and program delivery effectiveness.

• Built meaningful relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and external advocates; artfully persuading them to deepen their engagement and help drive the organizational mission forward.
• Strategically sought out new and innovative ways to develop revenue streams with existing accounts, including corporate gifts and sponsorships.

• Directed daily operations of a licensed healthcare facility with over 68 patients and 120+ employees to ensure high quality of care, compliance with state and federal regulations, and healthy fiscal standing were achieved.
• Developed robust departmental budgets, and managed daily labor, census, and revenue/expenses to ensure financial success of the facility in conjunction with EBITDAR goals. Improved financial health of the facility and achieved top 3 highest-grossing standing in company of over 30 statewide facilities.
• Identified and monitored industry trends and developed programming that responded to changing client needs/wants, as well as changing industry and government practices with a focus on quality care initiatives.
