Through this experience, I gained a deeper understanding of the importance of community support and the impact of providing essential resources to those facing difficult circumstances.
  • Pick Up and Pitch In for Piedmont Park (October 2024): "I volunteered at Piedmont Park, participating in community clean-up efforts to help maintain the park's beauty and environment. My tasks included picking up litter and ensuring the park remained a welcoming space for visitors. This experience reinforced the importance of environmental stewardship and the positive impact that small acts of service can have on public spaces.
  • T.C. Roberson - Daycare Intern (February 2023 – January 2024): I took Early Childhood Education and completed an internship at our on-site daycare center, where I worked with children ages three to five. • Reading Camp, Shiloh Fellowship Center - Volunteer Counselor (July 2019 – August 2019): As a volunteer counselor, I supervised a group of five-year-old children, providing guidance and support as they developed early literacy skills. Additionally, I assisted fellow counselors with various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the program.
  • Hospice Holiday Luncheon (Thanksgiving & Christmas) (2017, 2018, 2019): Each Thanksgiving and Christmas, my church organized and hosted a luncheon at Care Partners Hospice to provide support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult times.
