I played softball for 9 years. I became very skilled at this sport and it became my whole life. I worked to better my skills everyday. I saw little girls looking up to me and I wanted to be the best role model I could be for them. I started doing these lessons to show younger girls to keep working and persevering no matter how tiring the sport might get. I love working with younger kids and being the person they can look up to when it came to the sport that I prioritized over everything. I would help to motivate the kids and show them different ways to do certain things even if they did not always work. Softball is 80% a mental game. At such a young age, kids need to be motivated and reassured which I loved to do.
I gave softball and baseball lessons to kids ages 8-14. I had a variety of things we could work on such as catching, hitting, and fielding. I would help to better their softball skills and be a good role model. I would do 30 minute lessons with each kid on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sometimes people would schedule an hour with me so we could work on multiple different things.
My neighbors recommended me to his son to be able to babysit for their 2 kids. They were 3 and 6 at the time. I would watch them from 12-5 Monday through Thursday.
