ACADEMIC PROJECTS

Grant Research Proposal (March 2024)

  • Created and presented an NRF-style grant proposal for forensic research to be conducted in the Pacific Northwest
  • Research would involve a novel study examining the taphonomic effects of the Pacific Northwest climate on clothed cadavers
  • Overseen by Professor Sterner throughout drafting process

Research Project (December 2023)

  • Created protocol to follow in the event of a hypothetical “bog body” discovery in Oregon
  • Extensively researched Oregon’s laws of potentially forensic body discoveries
  • Completed project is currently in use as an exemplar project for Dr. Ulibarri’s anthropology courses
