  • Surgery Recovery Technician:
  • Sat with patients until they woke up from anesthesia.

  • Provided any extra care a patient might need when waking up out of surgery which includes, heat source if needed, making sure they are comfortable, taking them outside once they are on their feet, and performing either laser therapy or applying an ice pack to incision if a doctor requires it.
  • Removing intravenous catheter once able.
  • Keeping a close eye on patients throughout the day at scheduled times to ensure their temperature and other vitals are all normal and that they are ready to head home at the end of the day.

  • Rotated from being up front and working in reception/pharmacy or working in the back as extra help with another technician and Doctor.
