WHILE DEPLOYED TO THE SECOND AND SIXTH FLEET AREAS OF OPERATION, PETTY OFFICER TESSIER SEVRVED AS A VITAL MEMBER OF FLYING SQUAD, SHE LEAD IN COMBATING 20 VARIOUS CASUALTIES, ALLOWING GEORGE H. W. BUSH TO HAVE UNINTERRUPTED MISSION CAPABILITY. ADDITIONALLY, PETTY OFFICER TESSIER WAS PARAMOUNT IN MAINTAINING 20 AFFF STATIONS, NINE HFP SYSTEMS, AND SEVEN SALT WATER SPRINKLING RESULTING IN THE HIGHEST STATE OF DAMAGE CONTROL READINESS. PETTY OFFICER TESSIER’S EXCEPTIONAL PROFESSIONALISM, UNRELENTING PERSEVERANCE, AND LOYAL DEVOTION TO DUTY REFLECTED CREDIT UPON HER AND WERE IN KEEPING WITH THE HIGHEST TRADITIONS OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL SERVICE.


2ND NAVY AND MARINE CORPS ACHIEVEMENT MEDAL: PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT IN THE SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE OF HER DUTIES WHILE SERVING AS WORK CENTER SUPERVISOR ON USS GEORGE H. W. BUSH (CVN 77) FROM SEPTEMBER 2020 TO JANUARY 2025. SHE LED 9 SAILORS IN THE COMPLETION OF 2,513 MAINTENANCE CHECKS FOR 28 COUNTER MEASURE WASHDOWN ZONES, 20 AQUEOUS FILM FORMING FOAM STATIONS, 9 HEPTAFLUOROPROPANE, AND SEA WATER SPRINKLING SYSTEMS RESULTING IN AN INCREASED READINESS FOR SHIP FIREFIGHTING CAPABILITIES. ADDITIONALLY, AS DC CLASSROOM INSTRUCTOR, HER LEADERSHIP WAS ESSENTIAL IN THE QUALIFICATION OF 593 SAILORS IN BASIC AND ADVANCED DAMAGE CONTROL, LEADING TO CONTINUED CREW READINESS ONBOARD CVN 77.
