My entire nursing career has been in the intensive care unit, and while working at the MICU, I learned to hone my critical thinking skills under pressure, and I still managed to teach and lead the next generation of nurses. I learned from excellent leaders; the least I can do is try to be one for anyone that I have the pleasure of teaching.
