I have had some real work experience such as working as a Barista and Cashier in Saint Helena, CA. While these roles may not be related, this experience taught me how to succeed and adapt in the work environment.
I may not have a lot of experience in this particular field, but I do have a strong love and respect for the health care community. I am wanting to get my foot in the door as much as I can because I believe that it is important that I work to get enough experience as I can find. I am dedicated to becoming a Nurse one day. My goals for my career begins at working at this establishment so that I can learn and become a part of Clear Lake's Adventist Health community. I am willing to obtain any certificate or further requirement that I may need for this position, although I promise to do my very best with what I have. I have a growth mindset when it comes to my future career as a nurse and I am ready to start my working experience as soon as possible.
Thank you,
Hanya Ayala
I volunteered at my former Pre-School during high school. I helped organize, clean and set up routines for the children. I helped set up meals, bed cots, changing tables, playing and learning stations. I learned how to manage a facility while caring for children and their own special needs. With this experience I learned how to be organized and how to create a routine. I as well learned to multi-task and how to manage myself and others under stressful situation.
My junior year of High School I was a Teacher's Assistant/Student Worker for my Chemistry teacher. Since I was bale to receive this position because of my previous above average science grades and love for Chemistry. In this position I helped grade school work, helped set up and clean up for Chemistry labs and helped tutor when the teacher was not available. This position was short lived since Covid-19 caused us to stay home and my help was no longer needed.
