Led team in diagramming device workflows. Product Round: Built the device w/ researched hardware; Coordinated device programming in Python. Video round: Outlined an informational project video with team and delegated tasks to create it.
• Eagle Scout Rank with Bronze Palm - Built cat play structures for Contra Costa Humane Society. Led 15 scouts in building & mounting the structures; recorded total 96 volunteering man-hours for Eagle project. Exceeded merit badge requirements to earn Bronze Palm. Earned 1.5y of service through leadership roles of: Historian, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, and Senior Patrol Leader.
• Division Inspire award at VEX Robotics World Championship - Selected through outstanding performance in a judge's interview, nominations from team balloting, number of design features posted to VEX Forums, and design observations from referees & field personnel. Out of 808 teams, 10 receive the award.
• National Merit Scholarship Letter of Commendation - The National Merit Scholarship Letter of Commendation awards students who score highly on the PSAT exam. Out of 1.5 Million entrants, only 34 thousand students receive the award, making them the top 3% of test takers nationally. Scored 99th percentile on the PSAT examination.
