My responsibilities in Sam's Club as an Asset Protection Associate is ensure a safe environment for customers and working associates by minimizing theft. I would train associates about preventing shortages and theft in the store. I worked and analyzed surveillance footage to detect external and internal thefts. I travel to nearby locations to investigate and gather evidence to complete investigations called by my Asset Protection Manager.

As a Loss Prevention Lead at Burlington my primary responsibility was to foster a secure environment that minimized shortages within the store and company-wide. I monitored internal, external, and operational shortages, reported and tracked instances of theft involving customers and associates. During the Covid period, I demonstrated flexibility by covering staff shortages and ensuring customer safety. As a lead I shared my expertise with other associates through training, daily check ins, and promoting awareness of shortages to prevent their escalation and building a strong team.
