Perform system troubleshooting, maintenance and component removal, repair and installation of jaw and gyratory crushers, vibratory screens, conveyors, dust suppression/collection systems, mobile conveying systems, pump, pit dewatering, hydraulic systems, etc.

Perform mechanical and lubrication preventative maintenance such as changing filters in the dust collection systems, checking screens, seals for leakage,oil levels and lubrication systems identify potential failures/noises/wear on agitators, rotors, belts, pulleys, gear boxes

Assist with and perform component replacement and repairs on, but not limited to conveyor systems, ball mills, auto mills, screen decks, lube systems, filter drums, crushers, hydraulic filter presses, and foundry pumps

Perform the removal, repair and installation of piping and pump components, such as: valves, expansion joints and check valves.

Prioritize and make decisions regarding equipment repair as needed

Responsible for maintaining work orders and performing work area inspections

Train and mentor other employees

Perform advanced welding and fabrication

May operate mobile equipment such as: Forklifts, cranes, and boom trucks

Perform as a Fill-in Supervisor as required

Perform other duties as required

Takes process readings and makes necessary process changes or adjustments

Uses electronic process monitoring system to monitor conveyor, plant systems and equipment

Performs start-up and shutdown of plant or related systems

Operates processing equipment and makes adjustments as needed; performs basic maintenance on processing equipment and reports maintenance issues

May operate mobile equipment such as front-end loaders, forklifts, skid-steer loaders, and overhead cranes

Performs area housekeeping duties and may perform work area and safety audits

Performs other duties as required

Responsible for all facilities management/maintenance/ for a fourteen-hundred- camp. This camp includes thirty-seven buildings, forty campsites, and ten vehicles.

Manage a maintenance budget of $250,000 as Camp Ranger

Set up system to track and control use of camp equipment to ensure its maximum effective use life

Track and control camp expendables such as food, fuel, and other items, to ensure proper inventory levels and distribution.

Generate reports of camp use and expenditures.

Keep grassy areas mowed and trimmed.

Timely removal of trash from buildings, program areas, and campsites.

Keep buildings and program areas clean and uncluttered.

Keep roadways and trails clear of litter, tree limbs, and properly trimmed.

Keep the Reservation entrance properly landscaped, painted, and clean.

Construction Operation and Maintenance

Regularly manage demolition and construction of facilities ranging from campsites to buildings.

Handle all city and state filings, HVAC regulations, and range hood system requirements.

Schedule and perform annual maintenance on buildings, vehicles, and equipment.

Maintain required OSHA safety equipment and records.

Work with state forest service to maintain and implement a five-year forest stewardship plan.

Serve on Camping, High Adventure, and Properties committees.

Have friendly working relationships with campers, Order of the Arrow, volunteers, contractors, vendors, local residence, and other BSA employees. Maintain a clean, professional personal appearance and attitude.

McKee Outdoor Education Center, during the off season with private parties, business meetings, and large company picnics.
