Solely responsible for curriculum development that meets state standards for all communications classes offered at Troy High.
Coach a competitive forensics team, securing third place in state rankings with over half of the team securing top 10 positions in the state.
Mentor 65 members across 13 events, improving individual skills and team dynamics.
Cultivated a supportive environment to encourage participation and excellence in competitions.
Advise a TED-Ed Club, enabling students to perform TED Talks at a recognized TED event.
Achieved recognition as Club of the Month by the National TED-Ed organization.
Facilitated student participation in prestigious speaking engagements, enhancing public speaking skills.
Guided club members in crafting impactful, engaging presentations for national audiences.
Since 2017, I have served as an advisor for over 130 students attending the Global Leadership Summit in Europe. Supported collaboration and teamwork with diverse global peers to develop innovative solutions to global issues, and oversee pitch development for judges to improve competitive performance. Four years of placement on winning teams, showcased at the Nobel Prize Museum in Stockholm, Sweden.
Coached students to win speaker positions annually, introducing keynote speakers such as Anne Curry and Anthony Bourdain to an audience exceeding 1,500.
Responsible for the selection and mentoring of speakers at Troy's graduation.
Developed and crafted technology presentations for graduation, showcasing alumni.
Coordinate and execute a schoolwide dodgeball event to support the charity selected by students, annually attracting over 500 participants and generating approximately $17,000.
