Bottom Landing: Directed bottom landing procedures at tunnel shaft base to promote safe and efficient operations.
Oversaw logistics for tunneling materials transport in and out of tunnel. Coordinated via radio/mine phone with the top lander. Signaling crane operator via radio after load passes his line of sight going down the tunnel shaft and reaches me at bottom of shaft.

Top Landing: Organized and prepared materials at top of tunnel shaft.
Assisted in rigging materials to crane for transport.
Coordinated operations with bottom lander via radio.

Tail Gunning: Assisted in installation of 14-inch diameter steel pipes to transport slurry from boring machine to existing slurry pipeline as operations progressed.
Contributed to the installation of ventilation pipe at the top of the boring machine alongside team members and small arm hydraulic cranes.

Laborer: digging, mucking, cleaning grease from tail shield of boring machines' cutter head, installing and drilling brackets and j hooks along tunnel, installing, opening and closing high pressure slurry gate valves, installing and removing all underground tunnel utilities: air, water, slurry and grout

Pipe Fabrication: assisting mechanic shop with grinding, beveling pipe, tack welding, torch cutting

Plumbing: installing, cleaning and monitoring water pumps, installing PVC water lines along tunnel, installing 2 inch steel pipes for grout along tunnel

Ringbuilding: assist with ring building operations, fast and safe. Installing 6 concrete segments using vacuum crane, measuring and bolting all 6,000 pound segments together to form tunnel ring

Crane Operations: rigging and signaling all materials at the top and bottom of the shaft
