Performed structural design for the North Segment of IH35 as the prime consultant, a contract that included a total of 25 multi-span highway bridges. Responsibilities included work assignment to staff, scheduling, providing QA/QC, and coordination with roadway team and guiding junior staff through design.
Performed structural design for I-35W for 12 bridges performing QA/QC in compliant to TXDOT standards for design calculations and structural plans. Responsibilities included work assignment to staff, scheduling, providing QA/QC, and coordination with roadway team and guiding junior staff through design.
Performed structural design and plan preparation through 3D modeling on ORB for multiple bridges. Responsibilities included overlooking the structural staff, performing QA/QC, structural design calculations, and coordinating with multiple disciplines to reach our project goals.
Performed structural design for both superstructure and substructure along with detailing in accordance with AASHTO and TXDOT Bridge Design Manual. Also completed quantities and cost estimate.
Project scope was widening of SH288 in which additional substructure was needed and a new superstructure.
Responsible for the plan preparation and design of the
widening of the three-span PPC girder bridge over Kirby
Drive. The substructure consists of multi-column bents
and stub abutments founded on drilled shafts. This
bridge is part of a design-build project for the added
SH288 toll lanes and interchange reconstruction south
of downtown Houston.
Red and Purple Modernization Design-Build
Responsible for the preliminary bridge design and
quantity estimation during the bid proposal phase. The
design included 1.3 miles of elevated steel bridge
structure carrying four commuter railroad tracks in
replacement of existing tracks on built-up grade
between retaining walls.
Responsible for the bridge design for the new
construction Highway I-490. The superstructure
consists of built-up steel girders. Feasibility studies
were also conducted for the various ramps merging
onto I-490. The new constructed highway will give
access to O'Hare airport from the west side which
will alleviate traffic east of the airport.
