• Perform first, middle and last inspection of all production runs of laser cut metal tubes that are ultimately used to construct the tubular frames for Polaris Ranger, Slingshot and Gibralter
• Perform comprehensive inspection of incoming supplier bundles of metal tubing to ensure that the material meets internal specification for wall thickness, OD, weld seam thickness and the presence of rust
• Issue RMO for non-conforming material
• Use various measuring tools such as pin gauges, ring gauges, calipers, check fixtures and CMM measurements to verify compliance to specification
• Immediately respond to line calls from assembly to assess quality concerns and rework the suspect frame as necessary
• Conduct queue sweeps once a quality concern is reported, and yellow tag suspect parts in order to ensure a clean point has been reached for the particular defect
• Issue a daily End Of Shift report to leadership and relative stakeholders which details the number of escapes, scrap costs and FTQ (first time quality)
• Implement and support agendas and measures to mitigate trending quality issues
• Present quality issues and statements during daily Tier Board meeting
• Issue recommendation for positive acknowledgement or disciplinary action based on positive or negative trends respectively from a quality perspective

• Inspect tubular metal frames used for the production of Polaris Ranger, Slingshot and Gibralter
• Accurately document the various weld defects by marking each defect on each frame and various suspension parts and then scanning the associated QR code into the “Weld Tracker” system
• Follow established escalation protocol when repeating weld defect limits have been reached
• Serve as backup and assume all QA tech responsibilities to include line calls, que sweeps, basket signoffs and EOS reporting for QA tech in tube fab when the acting tech was absent
