GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Senior Manager for Respiratory Care Support/Logistics is responsible for managing all aspects of logistical support for Respiratory Care Services. Responsibilities include 1) coordinating repair and preventive maintenance of all mechanical ventilators and other equipment, 2) managing infection prevention processes including equipment decontamination, assembly, and testing, 3) supervising support personnel, 4) ordering and distributing medical gas cylinders, supply items and special request items, and 5) managing applicable inventories. This senior manager works closely with Supply Chain partners, Distribution Center staff, and Materials Management to ensure smooth and efficient workflow and appropriate inventory. Adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.
