Oversee and organize team of die makers and machinists to perform repairs and make new tooling for production.

Plan required work and oversee repairs to be sure that the plan is being followed correctly and efficiently.

Meet and coordinate repairs and/or engineering changes with department managers when problems exist.

Design and/or modify die components to make improvements.

Keep an inventory of repair parts on the shelf so that maintenance and repairs can be done quickly.

Organize and track work being performed by outside vendors.

Keep daily logs of work performed and tasks being passed to the next shift.

Maintain time and attendance of approximately 80 person crew.
