Repairs were required to keep them moving product through out the facility. Cell bins are the life line to Miller Coors being able to fill beer cans. Our object, to make sure cell bins meet Miller Coors specifications, Miller Coors requested 80% drop with each trailer and that is what service ITS, Greenbriar and GBW provided.

- In charge of Mobile Railcar repair:. Taking care of railcars for: Excell Energy, GE, Wells Fargo, GBRX, BNSF, UP, Conrail just to name some. Sometimes I would write my self in as safety supervisor and accompany repair crew to job. As the Weld Test Administrator, my responsibility was the testing of 32 employee welders regularly, providing support, constructive criticism in regards to welding technique. All test were preformed per AWS D15.1 specific to railcar repair. As QC: quality starts from the first parts and or materials ordered. Receiving did a visual and also had gauges to inspect parts for quality. I always did a visual and sometimes carried gauges when I walked through receiving. I Preformed in process walk throughs on railcar repairs in progress. As QA I was to have no ties to production. My job was insure that materials and parts were specific to the work order and the application, the work done meets quality standards and customer satisfaction. Responsible that all paper work was in order: proper sign off where certification was required that mill reports were included with work ordered if steel was ordered etc. All had to be in order before sending to office to be included with the BRC (Billing Repair Card).
