Additional Information

I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a heavy focus on the Electrical and Computer Engineering aspect of my major. These skills and competencies were applied to develop solutions to biomedical problems.

Projects

Engineering Projects:

Rube-Goldberg Machine

  • Designed a rube-Goldberg machine that would take on specific audio and light as valid inputs to the machine and pass these signals as outputs to the next machine. The project used circuit design simulations, signal analysis programming, and 3D modelling.

4 Input Vending Machine

  • Designed a 4 input vending machine circuit that computes whether or not enough change has been inserted to purchase an item. Designed truth table, minimized logic equation, created circuit schematic using logic gates, and implemented the design on a circuit board using LED lights as inputs/Outputs

Audio amplifier

  • Audio amplifier circuit using a 3 stage cascading opAmp design. The circuit takes input from a 3.5mm jack and outputs to a speaker. A later iteration of this circuit utilized bjt transistors instead of OpAmps

Shopping cart applet

  • Created a shopping applet in Java using linked-lists and array-lists data structure. Analyzed the benefits and costs of each data structure to create an efficient algorithm for adding, deleting, and sorting items in a virtual shopping cart

4 Bit Adder

  • Designed the circuit schematic for a 4 bit adder and implemented said design on a bread board using LED lights as inputs/outputs.

Leadless Pacemaker

  • This was a semester long, group oriented project in which we researched needs in the medical industry. We researched and designed a leadless pacemaker using 3D modelling software, circuit schematic software, as well as prototyping software.

Capstone Design Project

  • Worked on a wearable device that can analyze bodily signals during sleep. Using these signals, the device can then deduce sleep cycle and wake the user during the lightest stage of sleep.
