When I am not working full time in Ophthalmology, I work for door dash. I prefer not to do this, but it helps while I find the right fit. Which, I have not done since Opthalmic Comsutants.

Worked as a technician and scribe. Was not a good fit for me personally

I worked as a scribe and work up technician. I also did patient surgical counseling and scheduling.

I worked with 2 Retina Physicians. We were a small practice, so we handled all aspects of the clinic setting and some of the Administrative portion also. I was a work up technician, During my time there I was a work up tech, scribe and photographer. . As technicians, we ordered all patient labs and verbalized results of labs and testing when appropriate. I ordered inventory for the clinical portion for 10 years. As Scribes, we coded our exams. I scheduled and counseled patients on in office and in hospital surgeries and procedures. We started prior authorizations and followed to the end. I left when the MD I worked with retired. I have not found the right fit since.
