Forget-Me-Not — A smart applicator that dispenses medication in the form of patches onto patients’ skin, so that they do not need to remember to take their medication.
During my first semester at the University of Massachusetts Lowell I was assigned to a team, and we were instructed to find a medical problem and create a solution to it. My group and I decided to focus on Alzheimer’s patients and how difficult it is for them to remember and take their medication. Our solution to this problem was to create a device that will be attached to the patient’s arm and that device will automatically dispense medicated patches onto the patient’s arm
