I am a very reliable and productive worker who can complete tasks efficiently. I am skilled in supply stocking, room preparation, and maintaining a clean environment, ensuring that duties and procedures go smoothly. I am proficient in stress management and providing direct patient care. I excel in teamwork, communication, and adaptability, contributing positively to fast-paced environments.
As a room attendant, it was my responsibility to keep the salon clean, and stocked with supplies. I prepared clients' rooms by cleaning the beds and mirrors, dusting, sweeping the floors, mopping, and vacuuming the carpets. I also kept the hallways tidy and the bathrooms clean by sanitizing the sinks and toilets. I restocked and organized the service carts with clean towels, hair nets, gloves, and cleaning supplies. I maintained all of the laundry in the salon and placed fresh linens in each of the rooms. I answered any questions that the clients had both in person and over the phone, as well as attended to their needs and requests for additional items and services.
I gained my clinical hours to obtain a certified nursing assistant (CNA) license at a nursing home in my community. I provided my patients with assistance in activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming (e.g., brushing their teeth), etc. I assisted patients with ambulation out of bed to the bathroom, wheelchair, or anywhere else they may need to be moved. I always made sure to answer the patients' call lights promptly to assess their needs. I measured and recorded vital signs, as well as food and liquid intake, and output. I reported any changes in the resident's condition to the supervising nurse. I demonstrated knowledge of infection control policies while performing all tasks, and I used PPE when necessary. Lastly, I offered emotional support to my patients, further enabling me to connect with them on a deeper level.
